SEASONALITY IN UBUD
Bali enjoys a balmy year-round tropical climate. Temperatures average a very pleasant 27°C (80°F) in the Ubud area and a little lower at night. The best time to visit is May through to September when there's less humidity. In Bali, there is always the chance of rain, but showers tend to be an hour-long downpour, rather than all-day drizzle.

Cheong Yew Kuan—an architect with conspicuous respect for the environment and indigenous styles of building—worked with interior designer Koichiro Ikebuchi to create COMO Shambhala Estate. Their vision comprises of local stone, wood and traditional alang-alang roofing in sophisticated spaces that are at once contemporary and thoroughly traditional.
