Ride along pristine beaches, through lush tropical forests, or across rolling hills, all while enjoying the gentle companionship of our well-trained horses.
Our horses are crossbreeds of Australian Thoroughbreds (bred for the Melbourne race track) and British Clydesdales (used for the plantations). Equestrians can go out on hacks around the island, canter ‘Long Beach’ at low tide, and swim bareback in the ocean.
All horseback riding excursions on the beach are led by the island horse whisperer who is very knowledgeable about the area and skilled in handling horses. They'll provide safety instructions, assist riders with mounting and dismounting, and ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all guests. They can also provide tuition for novice riders in our enclosed riding arena.
A guided horseback riding tour lasts for 20 to 40 minutes. This activity is complimentary. Closed-toed shoes are required, and the minimum guest age is eight.
