Blessing ceremonies in Bhutan are full of ritual and mystery. You can mark an anniversary or important day with a two-hour traditional blessing at a Buddhist temple. Ceremonies feature the exchange of ‘khadar’ (white scarves), an important Bhutanese act representing devotion and love, blessing relationships with happiness and prosperity.
After the blessing, you can return to COMO Uma Punakha and choose to eat al fresco overlooking the river, or in front of the fireplace at Bukhari restaurant.
You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy holistic wellness treatments at our COMO Shambhala Retreats and take a Bhutanese cooking class with our chef.
Note: This activity requires advance reservation of at least 24 hours.
