GETTING HERE

COMO Metropolitan Bangkok is 40 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport by car. There are two airports serving Bangkok, but we recommend arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport — the city’s main international airport, with excellent transport links into Bangkok. We can help you arrange seamless return transfers from THB 1,900. For more information, email concierge.met.bkk@comohotels.com

Domestic flights also depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chiang Mai, Phuket and Koh Samui several times an hour, and take just over 60 minutes.

SEASONALITY IN BANGKOK

Situated just 14 degrees north of the Equator, Bangkok at its hottest — from March to May — hits around 30°C. Rainy season is June to November, with the wettest months being July and September. The temperature remains the same during this period, with slightly increased humidity. For most, the best time of year to visit Bangkok is the cool season between November and February when temperatures dip to a comfortable mid-20°C range.

THE COMO EYE FOR DESIGN

Created by Singapore interior architect Kathryn Kng, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok's generously-sized rooms and suites are clean, crisp, open spaces filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. Decor influences come from both east and west, forming serene, sophisticated living areas. Details include carefully sourced antiques, mosaic and limestone bathrooms, Thai silk curtains and more.
