Buck is the creator of the ALIGN Approach, a holistic methodology that combines Pilates, clinical somatics, neuromechanics and fascia release to retrain the nervous system, focussing on achieving alignment in the body.
Each ALIGN session includes a posture analysis screening to assess asymmetries in your static and dynamic alignment. Buck will use this information to create a personalised corrective exercise programme, which can be saved to your record for future treatments.
Combining gentle movement and relaxation, Clinical Somatic exercises work directly with the nervous system to increase body awareness, improve posture, relieve chronic pain, and help bring the nervous system back into a state of stability. These exercises can be integrated into a group class or targeted in a private session

NEUROSCIENCE-BASED MOVEMENT
This approach to mindful movement works to sharpen fine motor skills and nervous system communication. Simple exercises are used to improve balance and strengthen the vestibular system, optimising functional movement patterns.

FASCIAL SYSTEM RELEASE
The ALIGN Approach focuses on releasing tightness and adhesions in connective tissue, which is clinically proven to reduce chronic pain. A hydrated and balanced fascial system enhances mobility by releasing ‘stuck stress’, rebalancing and reconnecting our tissues.

ANTIGRAVITY FITNESS
Using a hammock-like apparatus, antigravity fitness features fun exercises inspired by yoga, Pilates and calisthenics to achieve greater core strength and mind-body awareness. This session aims to lengthen the spine with zero compression, reducing back pain and relieving tight joints. Aerial hammock and climbing-grade hardware provided.

Amy Buck is a Pilates instructor, yoga teacher and postural specialist. She is the founder of ALIGN Holistic Fitness and the creator of the ALIGN Approach, which she teaches in luxury resorts from Bali to the Caribbean. Buck’s passion for teaching movement and belief in the life-changing power of mindfulness drive her passion to help others on their own path to physical wellbeing.
