Explore the beautiful flora and fauna of a native rainforest, surrounded by the high-peaks of Bali’s sacred mountains. An expert local guide will take you on an informative journey, explaining how the natural world merges with the spiritual, pointing out sacred temples built by Hindu and Buddhists missionaries within the greenery.
The journey starts at Candi Kesuma village. You will go through the rainforest with your guide explaining the geography and history that surrounds you. When you complete your jungle trek, you will return to the village by canoe, across the tranquil waters of Lake Tamblingan.
Before you head back to COMO Uma Ubud, you will stop by the botanical garden in Bedugul, where you can stroll through the orchid house, cactus garden and specially cultivated herb plantation. There are other optional extras which you can discuss with your guide, like a visit to Ulun Danu temple, or lunch at a lakeside restaurant.
